Slash, I agree with cutepenny, a full box of 2010P cents isn't a bad thing! You could probably sell them and make a nice little profit.

4721butch,
planchets from the 80s were quite often poorly cleaned and the results are the gas bubbles under the plating. Along with the fact that they were typically struck poorly, it can make find high quality coins from this decade challenging.

Three of my last 5 boxes have held about 80% 2010-P cents, all in gem bu. I have put away 50 rolls of the best ones for keeping. Just picked up two more boxes and they appear to be the same. I could put together some rolls if anyone is interested. I have enough.

Florida - Nice find on the WAMs

Jim - I got the same probablem. The last 3 boxes I picked up seem to be all 2010-P shield cents. I don't know what to do with all of them. I was thinking of saving the first one, but then I got another, and another. I could put one in a vacuum sealed bag, pack it nicely into a little wooden box and bury it in my backyard, and hide a treasure map for it in my attick.

Just bought a 10x Hastings triplet to go through my coins set aside to check for variations. Like trying to to figure out how to fill all those holes for 1982 in my Dansco.. plus other cooler varieties.

I've gotten new boxes of 2010 pennies, and nickels and dimes!
I could care a less about profit
I would've loved to trade with people for anythig!!
but I cant do this still because I dont have enough posts
I would trade for old nickels, 40% halves, just about anything
Do you guys this this penny box is worth holding onto
hopefully I have enough posts soon
