4721, where did you find yours? I was at a show two weeks ago and a man was selling for $5 each. over priced in my opinion. But he said they used to be in cerial boxes. am I correct?

Keep it up sick the more you find the more you want to find . Then before you know it your fingers turn black and bags under your eyes from lack of sleep and on and on.

Thanks 4721butch! I've been back in the roll searching game for a few months. I have mostly been doing nickels trying to complete a Jefferson set (only have the 43d and 50d left!). Every once in a while I'll try my luck with halves or cents. It definitely seems there are fewer wheat pennies out there compared to when I used to search rolls about 12 years ago. There was probably one every couple rolls, but I have found several pre 1940 wheat pennies recently and I never used to find them that old back then-strange. Anyway it was fun back then and it's still fun now.

I have pulled 2 pretty good ones within the last month, a 1919D and a 1927S, oldest I have is a 1911 that I got over 45 years ago when my Uncle got me searching for pennies. Have the original Whitman from back then also.
