It's exciting to find one even though they usually impared and not worth much. It's just such a surprize when you break a roll and one pops out!

I think all planchets are laminated...just thin layers of 95% copper on the old stuff...you'll even see lamination on nickels.

Hey oldcoach, there is a lot to learn but this is certainly the right place....but I always say "think" when I'm not 100% positive. I've collected almost my entire life, but most of the learning has come from the internet...it just amazes me.

Hey guys, thought I would try roll searching out so today I picked up 5 rolls from the bank.

Went though a couple and I found a beautiful 1955 S... I mean looks uncirculated. Whats weird was I found two more (not all in the same roll) all 1955 S.

Seems a little odd, has anything like this happened to anybody else?

Also because I'm new at this, does anybody have any suggestions for what I should keep my eye out for? So far I've been keeping any canadian, pre-1982, or any uncirculated newer ones to fill a set.

Sorry if you guys get that question a lot. Thanks
