Money, the batch I have right now was hoarded by somebody's granpa...he wasn't a collector, just kept his pennies in a crock for years...kids were going to cash them in and I got them....so far the oldest BU is a 56...but they go all the way up to 2006...so that's how these things get back into rolls or circulation...I also had a 55-S BU out of a bank bag about a month ago.

Money, watch out...it gets addictive....$100 in pennies a week isn't enough for me anymore...I've got little containers of finds all over the living room...jars of pennies in the spare room...and green fingers !

Last time I visited my mother she had found a metal toolbox of my fathers...I brought it home, there were over 500 indian heads in it...nothing great..I think 1870 was the best..but hey, I'll take it.

Well, I'm back in business with a working computer at home again and life settling down. Just had coffee and chat with my neighbor across the street, at her place, and as we were catching up and I mentioned pennies again, she immediately presented me with about $9 worth of rolls. We're both disappointed she recently went through her house and collected up years and years of jars and containers full of pennies and had already taken them to her bank ARGH! I cracked the rolls and did a quick scan through and pulled out all the US ones, a couple of wheats HURRAH and a few special dates, including two 1970 S's!! Sm or Lge date don't know yet so cross your fingers for me :D Haven't looked at them closely yet but am happy with my US coins, plus some Canadian 40's, 50's and 60's to check out :) Looks like some good condition Canadians that I can shoot to 3 people on my list, from this forum, to add to their own collections when I finally have them all together to send. Gawd I love penny/coin searching :)

the bank manager of the bank I usually get my rolls from said I couldn't get rolls of pennies from them anymore because I was buying up all of their stock... I cant help it, Iv'e got a fever and the only prescription is more pennies (either that or more cowbell!)
