Greetings all,

Have done two boxes of cents since my last post. One was on Christmas Eve, the other this morning. Nothing too spectacular, but good breaks nonetheless. Here you go:

Box 5
Wheat Pennies: 14 (1918, 1927, 1936, 1940S, 1941, 1944, 1944D, 1945D, 1946 (2), 1953D, 1954D, 1957D, 1958D)
Canadian: 64 (1940, 1952, 1953, 1960, 1961, 1962 (2), 1964 (4), plus 53 additional)
Lincoln Heritage: 27 (all four varieties, both mints for none)
Shield Pennies: 141 (both mintmarks)

Box 6
Wheat Pennies: 10 (1936, 1942, 1944D, 1946S, 1950, 1951, 1953D, 1954S, 1955D, 1957D)
Canadian: 62 (1953, 1957, 1962 (2), 1963, 1964 (4), 1967 (3))
Lincoln Heritage: 22 (three varieties (no cabin), both mints for none)
Shield Pennies: 29 (both mintmarks)

Happy hunting!

- Scott

Primarily in square, coin tubes. I only use a 2x2 for the truly special finds.

Found this one yesterday. It looks like it was buried. Probably only worth a cent but is still kinda cool. Also found a 1961 Canada cent that I am calling a hanging "type" because it has the same die clash as the hanging 2 from 1962 and the hanging 3 from 1963,But because it's a 1961 the 1 doesn't touch the clash mark. John: May not be a great 32 but it would fill a hole!

Butch: An elf made me a sort board for Christmas almost half full of round tubes (100 more on the way). Total 242 holes, 10 decades. I'll snap a pic tonight. I love me a good jig!

Happy birthday thread! (2 years) Wonder if this is the oldest active thread?

The JFK thread is just over three years old now; this one is just over two.

The oldest active thread in a legitimate coin forum is actually "Interesting Find From Circulation" at over five years and four months.

The "Avatar" and "International Forum" threads in the Welcome forum are even older. The Avatar thread will be six years old in February.
