Cool Lincoln Roll Finds (From Bank Rolls) - Post Yours!

Ive had a terrible case of bad luck!
the last three boxes I searched through had NONE except for the 2ND to last roll of the last box! I was so happy when I got that Wheat penny, I threw my hands up in the air. Turns out I was still holding that penny, and it went flying and rolled straight into the air conditioning vent on the floor. D: I didn't even see the date.
do you think I'm just unlucky or someone is going through them at the bank I get them from?

I believe you are right butch - my area seems very Wheat penny rich - which is very good for me! Kefiroth - I figured you would say you were from Texas or some other very southern state. Do you get other countries with frequency that we up north might not - like say Mexico or Caribbean isles? Just curious.

Busted 42 rolls today - the bank I hit today was out of boxes apparently. I have only hit this one up once before, so I don't think I am the one to clean them out (at least up to that point) fortunately. Here is the breakdown - once again - alright. A little low, but we'll chalk that up to the eight rolls missed!

Wheat: 7 (1941S, 1942S, 1944, 1945, 1946, 1952D, 1955D)
Canadian: 40 (1942, 1958, 1961, 1962, 1964 (2), 1967 (2))
Lincoln Heritage: 14 (all four, both mint marks on the cabin)
Lincoln Shield: 55 (both mint marks)

Wow Scott you keep racking in them Canadians, heck you get more in one box than I get in a whole month. And I do 2-3 boxes a week.

mvpvlad I think they are.there is a bunch of folks that save only die cracks and errors. I save them because I think they are cool.

just went through a $25 box very nice results 32 canadian but only one good one 1956 6 sheild cents 14 2009 no denver 71-s, 70-s, and the nicest copper 68-s I have ever seen I think that it might just b from a proof this is the best part 21 wheats but all common 40s and 50s but I did find a nice shiny BU 1956 and another BU shiney 1957 plus 28% copper very good day

which rolls do you guys prefer, hand rolled or bank rolled?

it seems to me that in my area(Alaska) all the hand rolled coins contain much more Canadian pennies whereas the bank rolls have hardly any.

I've had the best luck with bags from the coin counter.Although there aren't as many copper cents as in the hand rolled, I seem to find more valuable stuff in the bags. But I'll take either as I don't mind getting abunch of copper and selling it on ebay.
