Here's one of the laminated cents I found in that bag. Sorry about the picture. I'm still learning my way around with various technologies.

HoosierDaddy thats some crazy stuff going on with the lamination on that one. BadThad will be the one to advise you on what to do with that verdigris you got going on that 19? coin. Sounds like it might be so bad nothing you can do without ruining it.

Olive oil sometimes takes weeks but it may work...really nothing to loose now if you've already started. If it does turn out to be 09-S vdb...will still bring a lot more than 1 cent !

wildbill: speaking of CAM's, are there just the '92's to look for or are there others? those are really rare, have you found any yet?

so out of 6 boxes I have 54 wheats total. pretty decent number, except that every single one was 40's or 50's. But luckily the last box I got a 1939 and a 1925 s. the 1939 is not that great of shape but the '25 s is better. I was excited because it is my oldest find. I can't wait to find an older one!

Well after doing a little scrubbing on the oil soaked wheat...A '4' popped out of the blue..or green I mean. I'm heartbroke...it turned out to be a 1949S wheat. It is now joining the company of a bunch of his copper brothers! Thanks for the help and the positive vibes!

it is always possable of more CAM dates but I believe the only year that anybody will find any will be 1992 P+D. And unfortunatly I have not found any yet and it is not for lack of trying

Shoot, by the way, I got that mystery wheat sitting in some olive oil. How long should I do this? First time trying this. The whole coin is dark and green and dark....but, no joke, I do think I see a "9" as the last number. And, no joke, I think I see the "0"! Now all I need is the "S" and the "VDB"! But...my loupe sends me for a loop sometimes. Wish me luck!

Do you have a pic of the coin? VC would work 1000000x faster than olive oil.
