amida17...I thought after I found my first 99 WAM...that's it....might as well quit looking...but no...I got struck by lightning a second time. So, keep looking, they're out there! I'm at two...and I am looking forward to #3! |

Well, I've been lurking on the boards for a while and just recently started searching penny roles. I've made it through 4 boxes and thought I would share a couple of my best finds. Last week I found 56-D that looked like it just left the mint. It was the nicest wheat I've ever seen in circulation. Tonight I ran across a 1911-D that filled a space in my book! If I can find the wife's camera I'll atempt to post some pics.

Great find in that 11D...I've searched thousands of pennies....and never ever have found the 11D. I don't believe in beginners luck either...just luck! Welcome!

Have to agree Hoosierdaddy(great name btw) Luck and persistence is all that matters. The search is the fun part! Once got a whole roll of IHC's at work...bougt them all immediately. |

Going up to Lake Placid for an annual snowshoe weekend next week....think I'll get a box to see what's floating around up there....should at least fill a few spots in my Canadian album!

i am also new to roll searching, only done 6 boxes so far. but now I keep thinking about how if I ever travel anywhere I will pick up boxes in different areas to see what is roaming around elsewhere.

HoosierDaddy them lamination's are really cool. I have one in a 2x2 somewhere will put up a picture sometimes this week.

I would have liked to have seen this coin before all of the wear. This 1920 wheat has seen some cash registers!
