Well, at 3-4 cents a piece I wouldn't call it the lottery...but is still a cool find

Quote: good question. Is there way to get pennies from out of your local area? I have probably searched $2000 pennies in my days and I am finding less and less coppers. I have 2 banks and I use both but I still feel like I'm getting my old pennies back I am kinda paranoid about getting my old pennies back so I actually just throw them into large jars instead of taking them back to a bank. I barely make any interest on my money in the bank, so I figure why not just keep them all for now. Then again I am not at $2000 worth of pennies yet.:)

Amazing. 562 wheats in one bank box. Like most everyone here the greatest amount I got from a bank box is 40-50. Got lots more from customer rolled boxes but never a number like that.

By the way, Mur, I go through about 5-6 boxes a week, all by hand.

Did 12 dollars today. Nothing phenomenal. About 75 problem free BU mid 1980's. I like to save the really nice Zincolns. Really do think they will have a premium down the road. 15 wheaties including a 1916s which filled a hole in my circ album.

Congrats mcshilling! If I get 20-25 I'm pleased, and 30 would be great for me.
