Found my first Indian Head tonight! It was a common date 1899, but I was extremely excited.

OK...too funny, but Hoosierdaddy and I had worked out a trade on one of his 99 WAM's because mine was pretty crappy. His is supposed to arrive today and guess what ? That batch of pennies that a friend gave me to search was down to the last 90 cents and I pulled out a beautiful 99 WAM,bad pics but I'll post on the grading forum later.WooHoo !!

Beauty of a WAM. I'd grade it AU58, but it'll slab 64 all day long because zincoln's don't show wear well enough to get graded AU at RD state.

Nice wheatie for a roll find for sure. The good thing about this thread is that you can share something that isn't cool enough for it's own thread, but still cool enough to show to people that will appreciate it

nice 99 WAM you got there. btw, I have a question to all of you who have found a 99 WAM. where do you guys live? I live in san diego so I barely find any 99 philli mint cents in the first place, so the odds that it are a WAM are slim. I'm thinking about getting some boxes from the east coast when I have relatives travel.

Down right beautiful WAM Maineman, gotta be the area you in to be pulling all those wams. bobbylena that is something else to pull a 1942 from circulation in that condition. Been checking my 60's and 70's stuff the last 2 weeks found a few minor MM varieties still got a bunch left to go.

murrellington..I'm in central Pa....this is my second 99 but it took 174,000 cents searched and both 99's came out of friend's "piggy banks" not bank rolls or bags.Don't know if that means anything or not.

bought a bag of pennies from the bank. Found 2 penies that had been run through the flatening machines at theme parks. I have no idea how they made it through the banks sorter

Maineman-absolutely incedible. I can't complain though. I've found a 99,00 and 98 (in that order) the 00 is very ugly but...congrats on the 2nd 99!
