Found a 1909 IHC tonight! It was in pretty rough shape, but I still took a deep breath before turning it over and looking for the mint mark. No luck.

Last fall my school and my wife's school had a pennies for charity drive. I ended up buying about $1400 worth. Took me a couple of weeks to go though them. Nothing great but alot of stuff I save.

Maineman. You are welcome to all my copper that I leave behind and all the errors you seem to enjoy. I guess I'll just keep saving the ones I always have and not get into things that take hours under a microscope to find. I would think that finding an example that didn't have something wrong would be the odd-ball after all the scrutiny.
