Is this PMD? At first I thought yes, but when I noticed that the lines on both sides line up perfectly I thought maybe not. But either way I don't know what would of caused it.

willy13, I don't know what in the minting process could cause that. And the alignment would be easy enough with a pair of cutting pliers or something similar. That being said, I'm not 100 % positive and if you want to make sure, post it on it's own thread.

^I agree. First thought wow cool struck through heavy wire. But then saw the reverse which made me think PMD. So basically I dunno? Like Maineman said make it its own thread for more exposure.

Yesterday I was searching through several rolls from the bank and there was a full roll of red BU 2011 cents. They normally give me mixed rolls.

(The Indians and steel all came in the same roll) VARIETIES: -1960-D Small Date x3 -1998 Wide AM x2 COPPER: -Typical amounts of copper pennies (20-25%). -$20 FV kept after removing any copper cents with any kind of verdigris or significant damage. Only non-corroded 'chocolates' are hoarded. INTERNATIONAL: -Canadian 1930 & 1941 cents in potential MS condition -5 Canadian high MS quality cents from the 2000's. Average of 2-3 1996 or earlier Canadian cents per roll. 1 coin each from these counties: Barbados 5 something, Cayman Islands something, England New Penny, France 5 Euro cents, and Italy 1938 something.

Working my way through a new box, I came across these in two separate rolls. Figured I would share.

Man, you guys are SOOOOOooo lucky on the IHC finds! I've only ever found 2 IHC's and those were in a friends stash, not a bank box.

trent, a 1984 double is visible with the naked eye, there shouldn't be any "potential" on that one. ebm...your pics aren't showing

@Maineman, I agree. I've seen the pics of confirmed ones. This doesn't look like that, but it does have a little 'sumtin sumtin' goin' on. I'm 99% sure it's just MD, but I've only spent about 45 seconds looking at it and I'm not ready to toss it into the junk pile just quite yet :)
