well I am about 95% sure that I found a 1970 S small date. it has the weak TY in liberty and I think it has the level 7. I can never figure out that 7. anything else I should look for to verify?

Try the inner loop of the "9". The small date, the loop will be pointing to the center of the "7". On the large date, the loop will point to the bottom of the "7".

Hey Willy those are some really cool looking coins you got there, haven't found either of those. Did pull me a nice 1943 Canadian this last batch.

thx oldcoach, they may not be worth anything but they sure are fun to find and show.:) I did some research on the pig cent, and it looks like 3.2 million were minted. Which is pretty low for a typical Lincoln Cent, so I guess it would be a rare find in the U.S. But certainly could be purchased very cheap on ebay. Fun stuff....

I know, I know. Hadn't bought anything on ebay lately so I purchased one of those rolls of "unsearched" rolls of cents just for the fun of it. Turned out to be ok. Here is what was in the roll: 1900 Indian, vf 30 1904 Indian x 2, f12+ 1927 1936 x2 1937 x 2 1934 x2 1939 x 2 1910 1916 1918 x 3 1918 s 1919 s 1919 x 4 1919 x 2 The rest were 40's & 50's. Again, nothing special, but fun anyway.
