The $14 of CWR I bought yesterday yielded nothing of interest except for a 1961 Canadian, which I needed. I now have all Canadian cents from 1958-2004 sans the 1967 centennial.  Now recently, I've been asking the tellers if they've got any $2 bills. Well they had $40 worth yesterday so I took them all. Found a series 1963 note in Fine condition among the stack!  The first red seal note I've ever owned.  Edited by Kefiroth

I have probably checked about 400.00 in cents from rolls since I got back into it this year and found:
1 indian head
wheats:
2 1909
10 in 1910s
15 in 1920s
30 in 1930s
150 in 1940s
300 in 1950s
1 steel penny
about 100-150 2009 lincolns.
a few dimes (probably thanks to malfunctioning coin sorting machines.)
too many canadians, a few other foreign stuff like bermuda and bahamas
1 blank
1 penny with a cross stsmped into it,
2 that look like they were mint set tokens. Its the size and color of a penny but it has the US mint logo on one side and a big mint mark on the other. I found 1 P and 1 D
The most disturbing thing I found was what I classified "trash." Too many pennies that were either significantly damaged, have green corrosion, grease, or God knows what else. What do people do to these coins anyway?
As far as the pre-1982. I never looked close enough for these. Should I have? I basically just scanned the backs of pennies. I know the pre-82 was made differently, but are they necessarily worth anything?
Then I have a few that are fairly new that are completely and evenly discolored .. they look almost they are spray painted a shade of gold. What are they from?

Oh oh oh oh, I forgot my best find... While cashing in some of the pennies at TD, I found a 1936 Washington quarter in the reject coin tray. |

Last box yielded 11 wheats. Oldest was a '35 and the rest were 40's and 50's. I did find an abundance of 70-S mints. No small dates though.

 I just finished my box of #342 is hard to believe but heck yes 342 boxes in the period of time of 1 year and 4 months , I'm about to reach 1 million pennies searched and now I'm going trough the ones I saved and lol only now I realized how many semi keys I piled together omg I ll post a list of goodies that I found along the way ! Sorry for my bad english but I have to post in here because is this topic with all of you guys what and who gave inspiration and power etc to go on this crazy hardcore search so I feels like share with you guys then for who is starting this lifestyle lol so you can have a idea of what is possible to find or where can you go with your LWC collection with only roll seachind YES BABE only roll search HeHE ! |

It is the major double die reverse for 1994. Mostly double columns on the right side of the Lincoln Memorial. Somewhat difficult to find. |

More numbers: 3x IHC2x blank planchet ( 1 of lwc+1 of LMC) About a dozen different dates brass cents 1916 Mercury dime2x LMC's with no copper coat 1x rotated capped die 1x 35% off center 7x king george (1x1922 rare key date) 1x plastic penny lol Foreign coins plus a lot of FUN ! I felt from the chair twice during my roll search ! 1st time when I found my 1909 vdb so my wife have to come and give me slap on the face because I was screaming like a girl ; took me 8 minutes and 43 seconds to finaly turn the coin so I could see if was a Svdb lol ! Today I had the misfortune to search through what had to have been the DIRTIEST box of CWR cents in the history of roll searching. EVERY zincoln in this box was stained with a nasty white powderish substance. And I kid you not when I say that A FIFTH of these cents were bent out of shape. Imagine if someone went through New York City and picked up every penny they found lying on the sidewalk. Now imagine they took all these cents and dumped them into a vat of concentrated filth and let them sit there for a week, then rolled them up and took them to the bank. That was the box I got.  The finds though were surprisingly average: a beat up corroded 1929-D and a few more common wheats, along with a 1993 Canadian. |

I can't believe all the awesome finds you guys get. I just started collecting and roll searching. I found a nice 26 and 29(will get pictures when I figure out how to take them).
