Quote:The Wide AM count is 54 1998, 48 2000 and 9 1999. That's UNREAL! Nine 99 WAM's?!

Went through 10 rolls of pennies last night with the following results; Two Canadian Pennys 1979, 1993 One Euro 2006 One Wheat 1958 a full red 1974 LMCI was surprised but happy to find a Euro, and Canadian coins are hard to find in my area. The 1974 was better than the one in my collection.

In a stupid attempt at getting people to look at their change, big shows will buy a half dozen 14d LWC and release them into circulation in the show's town. With luck, one or two are found by people with even a clue of their value, the rest end up in the garbage or whatever. C'mon peeps, start finding them!

yes, roll searching. From what I read, it is apparantly one of the more common double dies. And thanks, I had fun finding this one!

Ahhhhh....common is a relative term. I've searched THOUSANDS of 1995's and never found one. 1995 is one of the common years found in my local rolls....but the DDO is very rare. Figure in that time period I found TWO 1999 WAM's but no 95 DDO. Yet, a red MS 1995 DDO sells for like $35-50 and a 1999 WAM in MS sells for $300-500.

But I'd love to find one of those 95 DDOs. Jim

Hi everyone,
First post for me! I've been coming to this site for about a month for info on various collecting and coins. Thank you all for your helpful posts.
I have a question: What camera/microscope do you guys use to get such great closeups?
I just finished going through 5,000 wheaties from an estate and there are some I have questions on, and also almost a whole roll of AU 1944's, which I'd like to post pics, but my phone can't cut it.
Thanks guys
Bernie
