Got my first box of cents (because they were out of my usual nickels). It was fun, lots more wheats than I expected. Lots more red ones from the 1970's than I ever would have expected.
box 1: Wheats: 41, 44, 46 (X2), 46D, 53 (X2), 55, 56D, 58D. Canadian (that I saved): 41, 55 Barbados: 1992

Found this in my 1st box. How rare is it to find nice red ones like this? Is it worth anything?

Went through another $10 in brinks rolls at lunch and got... nothing. First time I haven't been able to find anything of interest... thankfully it's only a small sample size.

Robbudo....your 1959 is worth.....sorry, I couldn't resist......one cent.....lol Nice find! Finding a 59 in that condition is really uncommon. As for collector value, I would say probably 3 - 5 cents

THIS is what you like to see when you open a $25 box of cents. The particular coin pictured, turned out to be a 1936. In this box, a 1917 D in G, 28, 36, 42 D, 43 D, 44 D, 45 D, 56 D, & 57 D were also found.

I once had a bow where about half the rolls were like that. Actually, I have had 2 boxes with a lot of wheat roll ends, on to seperate occasions. I have posted them both earlier in thes thread; one had 671 wheats and the other had 1005 wheats, plus an Indian!

Congrats on the 72 DDO! The "other" DDO's are tougher than people may think. Everyone gets so focused on 001 they forget about these other varieties.
