I got what seemed to be just the zinc core of a 1988 D cent. It is pretty roughed up with multiple scratches, but I saved it

I also found a 1970 s that I thought was a small date. I decided it is the large date, but it doesn't have any FG initials on the reverse. Is this a common error? Can anyone tell me more about this?

Biggfredd- Here's the side view of my latest two sided cent. Not too good at hiding it.
