I like it. If I found it, I would call it a 1922-D "Plain" and happily fill that evil hole in my Dansco album.

So do I, but they never look that good. Not that chocolate brown is bad.

Again, I refer to the photos in the first post on this page. The first one looks like this...

Spent 20 minutes looking at this through the loop and I have convinced myself its a large date. The TY in Liberty is a little mushy buts thats about it...second opinions are welcome.
Its so rare that I even get S mint marks in Georgia that I think it would be too much to get a small date 70s.

I found my first WAM, a 2000 in good shape. Very exciting find. Bank only gave me 20 rolls and is making me wait a week for a box, no biggie. I also found a 1992-D with doubling on the date, but after a quick search, I'm sure it's Machine Doubling.

WOW! Finding a LWC that worn is pretty rare actually. You can't make out the last 2 digits or even the MM?

PO-1 - Nice find!

Hi all,

I've been finding some great information on this forum for some time now, but have not posted until now. I found a nice LWC in a bank roll today and thought it would be a good occasion for a first post!

This is one of four wheaties found in $5 worth of penny rolls (the ones in plastic shrinkwrap). Unfortunately, the others were in nowhere near as good of a condition as this, but I'd say it's not a bad result for picking up a couple rolls on a whim!

I think I just got through someone's copper stash.

36 CR rolls, about 95% coppers, rest zinc, only 2 LWC, all commons, no dd, no rotations, nada. However, some nice circulated S mm and some nice Woodies, or I think they're Woodies. Will try to post some pics for opinions.
