Yvairguy - that's since 2010, although I've been going since 2009 and didn't record all the finds. It's 167,500 cents so far. I'd like to hit a million, but that's going to take some serious work....

I noticed someone mentioned finding a 61 D and a 64 D. Why are these significant? Thanks!

Also, if anyone has a major/popular list of things I should look for in penny roll searching?

My list is 98 and 99 WAM, and 92 CAM... that's it.
Thanks!

last box I pulled only a couple wheat cents, I thought about just running these for copper and spot checked the next box, ended up pulling 52 wheat and 2 dimes, you just never know.

Gothic - MY SEARCHING HERO! A nearly complete wheat collection found by searching. I'm surprized you have not found a 1909 yet.

Today I searched my first ten rolls of cents and found a number of interesting things, but what I need help with are these two. I think I found a 1960-D Small Date and a 2000 WAM. The latter seems pretty clear to me, but I'm not so sure about the 1960.

First, the 1960 (sorry the close-up of the date is sort of fuzzy):

To me that looks like a WAM. I've searched through over $100 in pennies and haven't found a WAM yet :(

@BadThad - I'm trying for that 1909! You could always seed a few rolls and release them into the wild up in NH to make it easier for me!

Well it appears that I have blown through Gardia's supply of old pennies, I picked up 12 boxes today and they are all bright shinny new pennies

@yvairguy: If they are all a single date and mark, try selling them for a bit more than face value. I did that when I ended up getting 10 rolls of all new 2012D Dimes.
