1988-D Roosevelt dime inside a clear roll of pennies! I felt so shocked.

Quote: Here's a pic of the 1919-D, 1920, 1924-S, and 2 1926s from the most recent box. Those looks to be in pretty nice shape too! You deserve to find a key date. Assembling a collection from searching like you have is amazing to me.

Well I guess brinks in my area received their new shipment of 2013-P.I opened my first box today and you could count the new coins in the wrappers. My copper count went down from 600-650's to 377 and the second box doesn't look much better but I did manage 6 wheats and a 1944 canadian. I didn't count but I guess I had around 500 2013's. I guess this happens every year when new pennies come out.

I haven't seen too many 2013s in rolls as of yet, but I see more and more as I search more boxes. Maybe they're filling holes made by people pulling wheats from the rolls. :)

Wulffy - I sold it on ebay and regret it. I should have kept some of them or sold on craigslist. Didn't get enough on ebay. It sold below avg. had 8 watchers, but none had deep pockets. I have a few rolls I bought - one for each kid

Three boxes 40 some odd LWC mostly in he 50's. 1917, 1918, 1919, & 1920 all from Philadelphia and all about good to good. 1 bright looking 1944 - doesn't look cleaned. Someone had to have just released it. I'll try for a pic tomorrow maybe. I got a small digital scale so am sorting the 82's now. Have a great week guys.

Hi Wilhelm,
Nice find of two wheaties in $3 of pennies. I'm lucky to find 2 wheaties in $10 penny rolls.

Quote: did my first 6 rolls of penneys, found a 1937 wheat and a 1941 wheat! That's a nice score for your first 6 rolls!

I did two boxes of cents, a box of nickels and a box of dimes this weekend. For wheats I found: 13 50's 11 40's 1 - 1927 P 1 - 1918 P 1 - 1915 P The 15P was a solid good coin. A 57D was close to AU. A 1960D was pretty nice as well. I also found a potential 84D double ear and 96 WAM, but I need to check those first. About 10 2013 P's worth saving and 6 2009 P's.
