Is it worth that much even with the roller damage. I got a handful, that are pretty nice, but did not think they were worth much.

did a box today, pretty lame...10 canadians, 9 wheats (nothing amazing), but check out the amount of copper I pulled out of this box compared to the zincs. aside from the wheats and canadians, this picture has the entirety of the box of cents. copper on the left, zinc on the right. Edit: after counting, $7.50 in copper cents, or 30%

The Cud cent is nice. But the roller damage significantly reduces its eye appeal, at least to me. I do not like a damaged piece. It is unfortunate.

A coin with a filled 9 by the Cud. I think it is cool and may worth 1-2 dollars.

I would think even with the damage it would still sell for over twenty bucks. I've bought quite a few on ebay, dimes/nickels/pennies and its always a battle.

Quote: Oh man I made an awesome find today in a penny roll! It's my first error coin. NICE FIND! And it's refreshing to see someone understand exactly what a Cud is! I see the term used and abused by people....so often I'm sick of correcting them.

Found this roll searching, appears to be a 1989-D double die, there is an underlying 1989 that is shifted down and to the right, the bottom 8 disects the top eight making it look like the enclosed circles of the top 8 are enclosed somewhat, but this is the bottom 8 showing. what do you thing? all help appreciated, could find no such animal in the Cherrypicker's Guide.
