Thanks CoinCbass! I've only done 18 boxes of cents and I have only found one defective planchet, or what looks to be one. I can't believe how you and other people find so many.

I searched 74 rolls of Canadian cents today and found 15 wheat cents. Best finds were 1939s, 1949s and 1914. The 1939s and 1949s are both hole fillers and bring my total Wheat cent varieties to 100! Of those 54 were found roll hunting or in circulation and 46 were traded for.

Thank you BadThad I have decided to pick up some acetone. After I conserve the 1920-S I'll post pics to show the results. From what I can see it looks to be VG details with an attractive light caramel patina with even wear despite the damage.

Thank you for the compliments I was pretty shocked also when I saw it. I think the reason it wasn't pulled years ago was because of the blue-green coating, back when better examples could still be found in circulation. Lucky for me, this one survived!

just finished a box with 8 common wheats. will check for vams later, they are in a pile. I upgraded a few memorial cents.
The big news of today is that I now have a standing order of a box of pennies and a box of nickels each week :-) Now I am a planned nuisance instead of a random one. Actually they were more than happy to order for me.

that box order might need to double up sooner than later.

I am six rolls into a box with some of the best luck I have seen early on. I already have three wheats (one S), two S-memorials and a 1998 WAM even though it is in crutty shape. The second roll in the box had wheats on both ends!

I do not have any photos (I am working on learning this technique), but just yesterday in $10 of cents from a local bank, I found 6 wheats, which included a 1919-D and a 1928-S (both ~G-4). It is encouraging to know that there is still some good old stuff still out there.

The 74-S was the most difficult for me to find.
It was the last cent to complete my memorial set, and I've only found 4 total in circulation

Found this the other day - 2 extra fingers:

2009P-1DR-096 on coppercoins. This does cross reference to WDDR-051 from the Wexler files

Cool-Lincoln-Roll-Finds-From-Bank-Rolls----Post-Yours!

2nd image was taken by me and doctored up by Coop over on the error chat room.

Also found last month was a Wddr-052 - extra thumb. No good pic currently availble.

Surprising finds for $10. I've NEVER found either one of those while searching. CONGRATS!
