Rackster, the oldest date was 1928, so nothing special.
Today's bag was pretty good!
32 Wheat Cents (Oldest: 1910 (VG-8), 2nd Oldest: 1927 (G-4))
1 1968 Dominican Republic 5 Grams
1 1970 Bermuda 1 Cent
1 1972-S American Proof

Found in a roll of pennies: a 1945-P Nickel. It is not in remarkable condition, but the find itself is interesting!  I have not taken a photo of it because it is otherwise uninteresting. I had bought a box of pennies, but I can tell that most of them were rolled at the bank because one end of the roll was folded and not crimped. Other rolls in the box appear to be customer rolled with a name and account number written on them. (!) |

Isn't that the Reverse superimposed over the obverse? BadThad - can you explain how that is PMD which happened? |

I am noticing that the last several S Mint I have found in rolls are all 1969. Is that coincidence or some other reason? Was there a time when San Francisco only produced proof sets?

After a horrible dry streak of finding only Wheaties in the 40's and 50's, today I was able to find a 1927-D in G condition. Finding mint marked wheats in the teens, twenties and thirties is becoming almost impossible!

Found a really worn 1922d lincoln today! Really cool coin. I'll post a pic as soon as I can. Get your popcorn out! ha  you can barely see the 1922d   Man I need a better camera  Edited by Mr Click

Very cool Mr. C (Happy Days theme running through my head)! The picture clearly showed that it was a 22D so the camera is working. 6/22 results • 2500 Lincolns searched • 332 Coppers (13%, rather low) • 14 LWC (low yield, 1953 AU+) • 37 LMC (AU+, many nice BU Zincolns) • 7 S mint (nice 1972S) • 6 D mint (nice 1964D) • 9 2009 (including a couple D mints) • 9 Canadian (nothing old) • 1998 WAMLow copper so low LWC yield. Conversely, higher zinc count yielding improved LMC variety potential. I have a few set aside, but nothing too promising in the mix. The highlight was my second 1998 WAM in very nice condition (no odd toning and no rot).  Edited by Rackster

got a pretty good bag last week.got a 1909 and a 1909 vdb and a 1930.total of 20 wheats and 11.00 of copper.later greg
