Got $10 of CWR of cents today, with two distinct wrappings solid and striped... as per usual, I weighed the coins on my postal scale first... with the half with the solid style of wrapping weighing 133-139 grams, the striped half 127-132 grams... So I knew there was lots of copper in the solid rolls... the only question was if the wheats had been taken out of them... Sadly, they had been, but there were about 150 BU Denver coins from 1991 through 1996 which I pulled. In total, I pulled over 300 coppers... There was a lone 44-S wheat in the lighter weighted rolls...

FYI, a solid roll of coppers is going to weigh around 155 grams, a solid roll of zincs around 125.

I picked up a few boxes out-of-state during my travels last week, and found they were all machine-wrapped paper rolls. In my home state I have only found plastic machine-wrapped rolls. Getting the coins out of these paper rolls is much more work! Box number one has been awesome! My third IHC, a dime, 26 2009s, and 13 LWC from the 40s and 50s including one with mint luster. The IHC is awesome, as my other two have been pretty badly damaged. Here are the photo results of the first box!

Yes! It was my 55th box of cents! When I started, I didn't think finding them was possible, and I was just looking for wheat cents.

Went through 2750 pennies, found 9 wheats including a 1934-D!

I am dead tired as I went through 3240 nickels as well... almost 6000 coins total!
