Wow... 3 days without a post... see what happens when I get distracted... I've had some skunky rolls of late. Did pluck these two though...

John 77, is that a 1938 S/S? Also, am I missing something about the 1960-D?

I did the first 30 rolls of a new box. I was excited to find a wheat on the end of a roll which I put away for a rainy day. Have about a dozen now. So far this box is okay but if I judged by my first roll and that ender I thought I was in for a record setting box.

First roll had 3 wheats and 17 coppers with one wheat being a 1917. The rest was not the same.

30 rolls

Most copper 17
Least copper 7

Canadian copper (8)
Wheats (17) with the unknown ender

1917

aristarchus123, it's just a regular 1938-S... but a very tough circulation find as it's the 2nd scarcest of the 1934-date Lincolns, with only 20,000 more produced than the 1939-D.

Machine-wrapped roll. My 2nd one! I think this one is zinc. I'm pretty excited!

I would be opening those rolls like crazy, if you've heard about the weather in the Northwest.

Very cool blank. I found one when I first started and didn't know what it was. I have it put away somewhere.

Last 20 rolls in the box completed:

Most copper (15) 3X
Least copper (4) Boooo!

Candian copper (9)
Wheats (7)
2009 (1)

1928

The rest 50's

Pretty cool looking toned '77. Color really pops in the correct light!
