Yeah I was surprised that mine was in such good condition you can see all the details pretty clearly on it. I figured that if I ever found one this old it would be in bad condition.

Quote: On roll 24 of today's box, a 1909 popped out, face up! I was stoked! It appears to be a VDB but there is so much wear that it is barely visible. I will post pictures of the coin and box wrap-up later. Very nice!

Need an opinion. This CRH 1983 stuck out because the portrait of Lincoln has no neck. Here's the photo. It appears all the other detail around the missing neck is there. Of all the Lincolns I've been going through none of them stuck out like this one. Is this just an over enthusiastic polish job? Is it significant to be considered a variety? I did a Google and found other finds for the same year and affliction. Here's a post from here. The one I have doesn't have as much removal of the Y in LIBERTY like below: http://goccf.com/t/125269 ebay has one No Neck listed for $7 but compared to this one and the one in the other post the ebay one has a neck. The Y in LIBERTY is fully present as well. So... buyer beware! http://www.ebay.com/itm/1983-Lincol...AOSwe7BWu7I2Thanks!
