so I'm stopping for the night at 28 rolls into my copper box. My zinc pile is only 145 cents. this includes some coppers since I've put all the 82's in here as well. haven't bothered trying to sort the 82's. I've pulled 24 wheats so far. a personal best for me...that means I've taken 1255 copper (non-wheat) cents out of just slightly more than half a box. i'll finish in the morning. can hardly see straight anymore.

Thad, ordered my roll of 82 Sd and waiting for them to arrive. I will open mine, too. Curious, you putting all of those in 2 x 2s? LOL thx for the heads up on these.

Heck no! That is for my BU Memorial roll set. I cracked it and put it into a square tube.

WOW Jim! Congrats on the 99 WAM! That's a killer looking coin! You should have that graded for sure. It looks to be a 64 or 65 RD!

okay, here are the final results from that copper heavy box I picked up yesterday...
2199 coppers, 35 wheats, 266 zincolns. the zincoln pile includes all the 82's as I'm not going to try to pick out the coppers as well as 3 or 4 canadian cents.

I don't know how many boxes out there will be 88% copper, but it sure makes for an extra interesting day or two. almost makes me want to give up nickel searching for a while...almost.

That was certainly time-consuming. Better than studying for my chemistry midterm, though!

Finished off a box of pennies. Nine wheats, nothing special. Just over 10 rolls of copper, at least one of each of the 2009's. No WAMs/CAMs or DDs.

Did find my first stamped - a 1974 with a stamp of the outline of NJ with an "NJ" in it.

21 rolls copper. I included the 82's that were copper.

27 wheats, including a G- 1916

so do people not include the 82? I mean as long as you make sure that they are copper not zinc right? time consumption, why no one includes the 82 along with their copper?
