I include the 82 coppers! There's a lot of them in my copper hoard. I can pick out the copper ones by eye so it take no time for me.

I've got a drawer full of rolls of 82's that I haven't separated by category yet.

I suppose one day I'll spend the day doing it.

I had a very interesting box of N.F. String & Son cents last night. About 60% of the box was uncirculated 1976-D. This is interesting because I live in NJ. It's also interesting because a number of the coins have toning from bag marks. You can see where the fibers from the bag marks left imprints, much like on the Battle Creek Morgans. I had more Canadian cents in this lot than Wheat cents also. My best there was a 1943 Canadian, which went into my "Canadian cents from U.S. circulation" folder.

I found one very similar. The concensus was post mint damage.

Is the "One" in One Cents doubled? or am I seeing things?

i noticed it too, but I think it has to do with whatever caused the weird texture on both sides, because even the date is showing some doubling, but I doubt it's a legitmate DDO/R

Did a box worth of customer rolls. Pretty terrible. Seven wheats (I had them all already), oldest was a 1940-S.

Another mediocre box tonight. I pulled a few wheaties and a 1974 Canadian that was an upgrade for my Canadian set.

I've had fewer and fewer wheaties over the last couple of months. I used to get one every other roll. What gives? Any ideas? Is it the beginning of the end of the great coin dump?

Gothic, I managed to pull 22 wheats from my last box. Nothing special...mostly 40's and 50's stuff. Imho, it's always been a "hit or miss" situation out here in California.

I did find my very first Guatemala cent tonight though!

I picked up my first box of pennies the other day. I am new to this and after reading this post decided to go for it.
Only 10 rolls are going back. The rest are pre 1982, Lots of shiny 1982d, 12 Wheats (1914 earliest), 1943,1946 canadian (don't really know why I kept those).

Will get another box later in the week.I guess I got the Lincoln Cent fever.
