Based on your images, it appears that your cent is an example of the 1982-D Large Date variety. The coin under discussion in the video is a 1982-D Small Date example.

The 1982-D Large Date variety in brass/bronze is a common coin and not worth the premium mentioned in the video.

A good verification test is to weigh the coin: if it weighs about 3.11 grams, you have a brass/bronze cent, if it weighs about 2.5 grams you have one of the zinc varieties.

As already noted, your original coin is copper and the correct weight, just worth face value. Cents minted after 1982 were plated zinc and weigh less, as your most recent examples.

to the CCF!

I just finished a new side by side comparison of the 1982-D small and large dates. It shows the easiest ways to tell the difference at a glance. Hope it helps.

It sure would have been nice if he found the small date coin.

But the rest of the coins are regular face value coins from what I can tell.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
