Going through a bag of mixed coins I bought a few months ago, this little brass medallion (about the size of a US 1c coin) was in the bottom. It looks as though it once had a loop for hanging. Does anyone recognize it? Thanks!

@numisrob, it is always fun to find a religious medal in those mixed bags! With an inscription of SEP.B.F.O.S.M.V. and Mary with a bunch of swords on the other side, I think that this relates to the Seven Blessed Founders of the Servitas Order. Here is a link to a similar piece:

Here is the information provided with that medal:

SEVEN BLESSED FOUNDERS OF THE SERVITAS ORDERThe seven founding saints of the Order of the Servants of Mary: Bonfilio, Bartolome, Juan, Benito, Gerardino, Ricovero and Alejo. Being merchants in Florence, they withdrew by common accord to Monte Senario to serve the Blessed Virgin Mary, founding an Order under the Rule of St. Augustine. They are commemorated on February 17, in which the last of them, Alejo (1310), died...
