Sobering if anyone could help me out and let me know what you think the value of this coin is?! It's a 1915 Half Dollar. It appears to have a couple 'cracks' in it so unsure if these are from the printing process or if there just something that came with the age of wear & tear... Assuming you're asking about a U.S. half dollar, that in question would be a Barber half dollar (1892-1916). If no mint mark is located directly below the eagle's tail on the reverse it would have been struck at Philadelphia. D for Denver, S for San Francisco other wise. Mint marks factor into value, so again assuming it's from Philadelphia and smooth grading About Good (AG), $10.00 would be about right retail. One grade higher and that jumps to almost thirty. What I'd suggest is the Barber Coin Collector Society's website http://www.barbercoins.org/Barber-H...rading.shtml since they are very strict on grading these. Photos of each grade included.
