Hello to everyone. New so this will probably be sloppy.
I received this 2020 Virgin Islands quarter in change. I noticed at the date on the reverse that I guess punch continues through the date. I have not seen anymore like this. Can anyone help, and give me an idea of what I got. Thank you.

It is damage from a Coin Wrapping Machine.

So the damage happened to the coin before the date was stamped on.

No. The damage happened after the coin left the mint.

Take your pictures directly over the coins, not at an angle.

I got the W Salt River Bay
That's my only W. They are not a common coin around the St Louis area.
