But first consider? 99% of the coins with incuse marks are just damage to a coin. Just because it looks different than other coins, damage is often the cause on coins with incuse marks on them. 1% of incuse marks on a coin is actual mint errors. So be patient and learn what damage to a coin looks like. The causes, the things that are yelling out as damage. (intentional damage) SO hang around here and listen to what could/did happen to coins. Then you will know what you are seeing when you find examples like this again. Maybe pose a new thread on what "Post Strike Coins ( PSD), how do I know?" There have been so many examples posted here in the past. But putting more effort may be helpful to new collectors? Report this Post to the Staff
