I'm interested in a PCGS Encased Coin of some value. I've never spent this much on ebay. I do miss coin shows. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Their name is avenuecoin. (8489) 100% positive feedback

Item is:

I've never dealt with them, but you can find them online. They have a brick and mortar store in Stockton, Ca, and they look pretty reputable.

if they have a store, maybe message them there about the coin, they should be able to give you a better price, as they would save over 10%, not going through ebay, with fees, etc..

I have dealt with them in the past. Not near the amount of that 1909, so i'll have to go with silver wolf only because it would almost certainly save you some cash. They are good people.

If they're really reputable, contact them direct and ask for the cash price (check). I've done that with a couple of dealers I've done business with for years and it's amazing how much room there is when they don't have to pay ebay, PayPal and the bank 13-15%

Agreed with the upthread.

In an instance like this when you can reach them outside ebay, I typically send the seller a formal letter through ebay asking if they accept offers. I typically do this before contacting outside of ebay, bc if the answer is yes, you can usually get a little extra off on top of the ebay fees (assuming they're ok with doing a deal outside ebay). Literally just did this tonight with a seller off ebay, worked out for both of us.

Nice coin by the way
