Can you please help me.... Who I should send coins to to be graded, or reasons I should not send a coin? Is it better to send the coins in a group and how much does that cost? Who would you recommend for grading? Just the basic knowledge for now please.

If you are just getting into coins, and learning, then having them graded should only happen after you are fully versed in many things..

Maybe a year from now, you would be ready to submit coins, for now spend your money on knowledge...Do a lot of research, ask a lot of questions,
buy a few coin books, and some basic equipment..

After you master the basics, then you can learn about submitting coins..

First rule of thumb, is stay away from you tube about getting rich, checking your change.. It isn't going to happen..

Second rule of thumb, is enjoy what you are doing..

My advice would be to submit to the TPGrader that has the best reputation, with the toughest grading standards.
That way, if you wish to sell later on, the prospective buyer can more easily trust what you have to sell and even perhaps even offer a higher price.

If you end up with a few slabbed coins from that TPG, you have some sort of quality control, against which you can judge, when it comes to grading coins for yourself.
Most collectors have lots of coins, where the potential value does not justify the submission and shipping fees.
For lots of collectors, that potential value is around $100.

For me, none of my 2,500 or so coins are slabbed.

I am a beginner. I really thank you for your replies. I will put my coins off to the side for now. I do have a lot to learn, and thank you for your patience.

typically $100 value and above for submission.

i dont typically submit unless its a rarer coin and I'm looking to sell. over 50 years collecting and I only have a few slabbed coins. I did recently have a couple coins graded and the final costs including shipping & ins both ways was as follows:

PCGS was $42/coin
ANACS was $16.50 but that was a special they were running 10 coins for $10 each
