Hello from Spain!
I'm new in this forum and I'd like to say that I'm really grateful to be around the fantastic collectors from all around the world.
I have a very strange coin (I don't know what it is)...can you help me to recognize it? Thank you!
Weight: 2'99 grs.
Diameter: 1'5 cm.

Mamluk Sultans, al-Ashraf Sha'ban II, 1363-1377. The coin is red in the photo. If it's silver, it's a dirham. If it's copper, it's a fals.

Thank you for welcoming me into your fantastic group!
And thanks a lot for the information about this coin. The photo is red because of my iPhone...sorry! I think that it's a dirham.
I have some books about ancient spanish coins of Al-Andalus, but I don't know anything about North African coins.
