Just wanted to say hello everyone because I have not posted in awhile. Still been looking at change just know a little more now so don't have to ask so many questions. I found this nickel the other day and I can't figure out what this would be classified as. The nickel has a line running from Jefferson forehead all the way down to his cheek then stops and starts again after his cheek on down past the date. It also has a similar line below the building on the reverse. The line is under the surface obviously so not PMG but I still have no idea what it would be. I know die clashes are similar but I didn't think it was that. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks Chris

awesome - wonder if TJ is sweating or crying and seemingly appropriate for 2020 either way.

Isn't that the truth! Everything is crying in 2020 even the coins

Is your reverse rotated on your coin a bit?

If it is Coop it is very very minor. Not really enough to tell. I have it in a 2x2 flip now and it might be slightly but not much at all. Do you think it is a die clash? The reason I didn't is because I didn't know how the line would make it all the way up on his forehead. Please let me know what you think. Thanks

Well even slight amount of rotation can happen and affect the alignment of the clash overlays.

That is why I asked. The obverse lines are not falling exactly over the normal clash overlay on the obverse.

Yeah I just want to know what it is. I have come across some die clashes but this one confused me that is why I posted it here to hopefully figure it out. Is there anything else that it could be besides a die clash? do you think it is a die clash and just confused like myself on the alignment?
