This coin has a 10 eye-appeal. When I looked inside the dealers case, this coin stood-out like crazy. The obverse has a bluish toning predominately around the portrait, that's what you see in hand. The reverse is pretty normal looking, no colored toning at all.

Really nice toning on the obverse, I see what looks likes a slight bit of wear on the cheek bone. I think it would grade at least MS-62.

The cheek is bag mark damage, it is indeed flattened a bit.

Not a Vic coin! I bought this at a coin show months ago from one of my fav Lincoln dealers....I didn't need it, but couldn't resist. I felt bad about spending the money and posted it for sale here, but nobody was interested so I decided to keep it. Let me tell you, in hand this coin will knock your socks off, it's stunningly beautiful...pictures do it no justice. I tried a lot of angles, lighting and such, but it just doesn't photograph well.

With the pictures it's hard to give it a fair grade. Looks like a MS63. In hand we probably would give it MS64. Would this be considered a BROWN or RED? As soon as I have 50 post, I would love to own that coin or other Lincoln's that you may offer.

Normally, I'd grade this coin MS-62/63, but let me tell you, this is one of the most amazing Lincoln's I've ever seen in hand. When you look at it only the portrait looks blue. As you tilt and turn, you can clearly see cartwheel luster trhough the toning. Think of a blue neon sign with a piece of polished copper behind it. I should have never listed it for sale in the first place...but that's another story.

My grade is MS-64 RB EA (Eye Appeal) LOL
