I am new to coin collecting, but found this one in my loose change. Would this be an error on the 1960? Is it worth holding on to?

1960 is known for die chips around the date. Your coin is called a "bar 0". I save the better grade examples of such.

If I remember right, the bar O is a die chip between the zero and the rim. What is going on inside the zero and the 6? PMD? Above the 1 looks like die gouges?

Yes john1 I don't know how to really tell. It is interesting that it kind of matches the curve of the 6 and 0.

It may have had a struck through debris issue on that area. While next to the rim, looks like die chips, the area inside the '0' looks more like a sliding of the struck through debris. (It can't be a die chip as die chips don't move. That is what I feel we are seeing on this coin.
