Seller has priced this coin as a high-AU coin. Not sure about that, but I do like the eye appeal.

I'll say AU details (evidence of cleaning on both sides).

Looks like someone's had a go at the cheek as well.

Is he asking original surfaces money for it? Remember down the road if you want to sell, it's usually difficult to break even on a raw, once cleaned coin. The abrasion lines on the reverse are very distracting.

Yes, the abrasion lines on the reverse are a shame. The seller does ask "problem-free" money for this coin. I am not sure if I should pay that much for a cleaned coin.

Would otherwise be a nice coin if it weren't for the hairlines/ cleaning. AU Details.
Would be a hard pass for me if he is asking problem free prices, no hesitation.

Can I mention how much the seller asks? Or is that no no on this board?

That's high. That to me is the higher side of a problem free AU-58 example. If that's a price your willing to pay, why not hold off for a nice example?

I agree that's high for the asking price for a cleaned coin, not a fan of that deep toning either, could be hiding more hairline in current pics.

I will look for other examples in the comings weeks. Same story with the Seated Liberty (Half) Dimes I posted. I just wanted to hear people's opinion.
