Had to search back through a few rolls of '27Ds to find an example of this DDO.

Wexler also lists it as an RPM but, since mine has taken a lot of abuse in the last 93 years, that is a non-factor.

Luckily the second eyelid and, to a lesser extent, the MM location helped me to ID this variety. As hard as it is to see the doubling under TY, it is even harder to get a pic of it. Seems to have a similar marker as WDDO-1 on the the right wheat stem so that led to some confusion in ID'ing it.

Very nice find! It's a fairly strong doubled eyelid.

If I'm not mistaken, that WRPM-005 was debunked as MD.

I like this die quite a bit , excellent score!
Here is a link to a thread I started over on LCR where I had hoped to support this being a rpm but insted helped Bob Piazza , the attributor for Coppercoins, prove that it wasn't a repunched mintmark.

Yes, I went looking at old threads and found the thread where this issue [no RPM] was brought up. Ouch, it went the other way. Your copy looks quite nice.

I see there is also a nice one on ebay for someone to cherrypick if they want. It is easy to see the extra eye as well as the TY extension. The price is a bit steep though.
