Kurt, sorry, can't do it. Since you put this competition up I have been trying to narrow down a post, or even a topic, to nominate. I have learnt too much from too many wonderful people that it just wouldn't be fair to nominate just one. So I am going to break your rules (there by excluding myself) and nominate CCF as the most distinctive FORUM on the net.

Pulling me over to the dark side, huh? Regardless, a great read. Thanks for sharing!

I want to nominate a SuperDave's post in this thread. He deserves a big " " for that one!

Ok...I'll be flexible! But since it's the new years, the entries are now closed. There have been a lot of great entries, so I'll have to give this some thought.

Quote: Ok...I'll be flexible! Would you beleive me if I said I totally forgot what today was? No? Okay, how about "I totally forgot when the contest was scheduled to end!" Quote: There have been a lot of great entries, so I'll have to give this some thought. Good luck! I do not envy that task!

Thanks again for everyone's participation and submissions! There have been a lot of great contributions to the forums, and this was a hard decision. On the other hand, one submission in particular really stood out to me. I cannot think of a more deserving post for how it got everyone involved and touched the life of a young collector. For many of us, this took our modest hobby to another level, and really captured the essence of Christmas to me. So congrats to Vermontensium for this great nomination, Metalman for organizing this wonderful idea, and for all who participated. In the next couple of days, I'll post a list of prizes to choose from. Then again, I know we've all won already.
