This coin came from an old collection of errors, this one penny was found in a green 2x2 dime wrapper with the pencil writing on the front as 1945D Clip.
Imagine what this coin looked like uncirculated!?
The rim of the obverse side is fully intact, even when viewing it from the reverse.

It doesn't look like a lamination, but more like the planchet fractured. Interesting!
