I was wondering if this is the 1914/3 Buffalo nickel? Maybe I'm seeing things that arent there....

After looking at your coin a bit more closely I can see what you mean. But I can't say for sure one way or the other. Maybe just some Pareidolia?

@canary01 .... Having cherry-picked a number of these over the years and getting them certified, IMHO, this one's a winner. That said, low grade specimens of this variety aren't worth slabbing, methinks. On the plus side, despite the low grade, I can see the downward line/angle on the underlying top of the "3" on your specimen. There's been a lot of controversy over these, depressing the values, but the Red Book listings helped keep the variety afloat.
