I'm really unsure on these myself Good eyes on spotting these!
In the first coin, the "doubling" looks cut into the original letter dimensions, ie shearing (MD).
The exception might be where the N in CINCO appears to have separation on one corner.
Then again, I don't know these coins...maybe somebody who knows will.

Well...for me one sign of MD is when "doubling" cuts into the full dimension of letters, and that's what I see here.
Not a secondary impression, but damage to the original letter.
There's also a clean transition between main letter and double--no characteristic splitting of serifs/ends of letters.
Just my guess though--because I don't know the subtleties of this coin, and how a slight DD might look.
