Hey guys, I love how this coin feels in my hand. It's got nice edges. if I've researched right, Each higher grade means a lot for this coin.

Pure copper Twopences weigh 56.3-58.1 grams, copper pennies half of that.
Beware fakes with these.
With the huge number of minor varieties for the original issues, of cartwheel Twopences and Pennies, I have no idea how to identify fake from genuine, but there are specialists who can, and much more reliably than I.

Your research is right, copper is soft, and examples without rim dents command much higher values.

If its real, I would say the grade is a high Fine/almost VF (British grading), quite a bit of flattening on Britannias face, breast and dress. George has clumps rather than strands of hair. Wreath not fully distinguishable.

Some of the pink on edge around 1 o'clock seems a bit fishy, otherwise I am 90% certain its real and its in nice overall shape.

Decent example to above average, a keeper. If its tuppence its fairly scarce, pennies are more common.
