@klupper, first welcome to CCF. Second, I think that the market for collecting these is a bit thin, but if you have the whole set (maybe 135 flags?), you might find folks willing to spend more than melt for them. Also, it is probably best to leave them in their slabs for safe-keeping.

yes I noticed that there was quite a few made in the set! I personally just collect I have never traded or sold anything. so I might not ever get the full set but i'll always have a piece of it. & was just trying to find out a little bit more about it, iv owned it since I was 6. #128518;

Ok right, well you likely know then that the Franklin mint is basically upselling bullion with occasionally interesting designs. Here on CCF we have talked about them many times.
