There's nothing special about this really -- just two average, run-of-the-mill coins received this morning at a CVS pharmacy (overall, I got a nickel and three pennies in change). But, I don't think I've ever received two 80+ year old coins before in a single transaction. It does make you wonder if people are heading into the their attics to find old change during these difficult economic times.
