Hello everyone, been a while since I've been here (out looking for a 1794 Morgan) Anyways, I have a 1987 D penny that looks like it is silver under the copper color or maybe it's just me. I think out of like 6 diff coins I've asked about 1 maybe 2 were worth anything and I'm pretty sure I no longer had them by time I found out so from now on I'm gonna wait at least a week before I decide not to keep it or not. So does anyone see what I see ? I'm still learning. ( I have figured out the small date large date thing and I can tell if a mint is double punched or not).

Um...I don't think there's a 1794 Morgan dollar in existence.

And what you're seeing is the zinc core, along with erosion and environmental damage.

I do, but yes unfortunately it is zinc and not silver. Of course keep it for a week or two if you want, but it is only worth face value.

I guess that's why he hasn't been here for awhile!
