I never realized Whitman had such variety. Hopefully a Whitman expert can comment. Quote: is the San Francisco mint considered Proof for the Eisenhowers San Francisco minted 40% silver uncirculated & proofs (1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1976) and Cu-Ni clad proofs (1973, 1974, 1976, 1977, 1978)

I'm looking for an album that has all business strikes as well as the proofs so long as I'm not going to decimate my checking account.

Well, I'm really old-school and mostly use the cardboard folders (the same as when I started coin collecting in the 60's), so I'm not much help, BUT....I'm not sure of what use the first album might be if it only goes to 1976. I'd buy one of the two that can display the entire set of 34.

Hi chafemasterj
I just started an Ike album using the second one you list. The first link points to an album that only goes to 1976, so it would leave you a couple of years short. The third link points to what appears to be an older version of the second link. Might just be someone that has older stock to sell. It references the same album number - 9131.
There are 3 empty hole (unmarked) to put some of the later special issue coins.
I like the quality of the Whitman.
I too would have preferred a Dansco but could not find one available.
Good luck with your collection!

So far it hasn't been too expensive to find uncirculated and proof coins. So far I haven't seen any that are outrageously expensive.

Thanks for all the input. Ordered the middle one. I'm pretty sure that'll set me up the way I'm looking. Excited to start something new.
